Greetings  인사말

Dear Korean and Altai-Turkish members,

Our association started researching the ancient history and traditional culture of Korea in 2010 and realized that the culture and customs of Turkic, Mongolian, and other Altai-speaking countries across Eurasia have many similarities with Korea.

In 2016, we were invited to participate in the biennial Kurultai festival in Hungary and began exchange activities, which furthered our research and led us to discover and reveal the historical fact that the cultural roots of all Altaic-speaking nations are one

The information and data found through the comparative analysis of Korean traditional culture, customs, and written records with the cultural customs and practices of the Turan people in Eurasia will be invaluable resources that have not been known anywhere else in the world.

This material will be made available to members through the website on a weekly basis for each topic, and we hope that it will serve as an opportunity to restore the forgotten history of the past and bring the citizens of Korea and the Turan people of Eurasia closer and more familiar with each other.

We hope that this common culture will lead to special cooperation in all fields, not only culture, but also education, sports, and economic exchanges.

We hope that citizens from all over Eurasia will take an active part in this association and find it informative.

Sincerely

Common culture  공통 문화

Common culture of Korean and Turan peoples

대한민국과  TURAN 민족의 공통 문화

'Shirum' is a traditional Korean folk game and sport.

The origins of 'Shirum' can be traced back to the Goguryeo Dynasty (37 BC - AD668), which was an important state in Korea's ancient history, with historical artifacts in the form of records and murals.

To this day, it“s a folk game that Koreans, both men and women, have enjoyed since childhood, and it”s a traditional Korean sport that is highly popular among many people.

We discovered that the Turan peoples throughout Eurasia also enjoyed “Shirum” as much as we did, and they were all called Kuresh, Gyuresh, Gyulesh, Goresh, etc.

An important fact we discovered is that the name Goguryeo, Goguryeo, is in the name.

The name Goguryeo Goguryeo became Goryeo Goguryeo, which is pronounced “Ko-Re,” which is thought to have been divided into various pronunciations, such as “kure,” “Güre,” “Gule,” and “Gore.

In particular, wrestling was referred to as 'Goryeo' in historical records, and traces of this pronunciation have been passed down to the Turanian peoples of Eurasia.

With a common culture of 'Shirum', the Korean and Turan peoples can be seen to have the same history and cultural origins.

On the left, photographs and drawings show the Turanic peoples of Eurasia; on the right, Korean culture and ruins, customs and dress.

In many areas, you can see that they are almost identical or similar in style and appearance,

This also shows that there is a long and very close relationship between Korea and the Turan people.

The tombs of royalty and nobility from the Goguryeo period contain hundreds of murals depicting the lifestyle and customs of the Goguryeo people of that time.

Many people are surprised to learn that the hats and clothing of the Goguryeo period have been passed down to the Turan people of Eurasia today.

When I thought that the dress culture was a custom that has been passed down without much change for a long time as an identity of each ethnic group, I was surprised to find that the Turan people are wearing the same type of costume as in the mural.

The Turan people must be brothers with Korea.
